The Shiatsu Regulatory Group has been established by its member groups to participate in the creation of a federal voluntary regulation system with a number of similar organisations in the complementary and alternative health fields, under the guidance of the Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health (PFIH). The SRG receives grant aid from PFIH, which in turn is grant aided for this work by the Department of Health.

This web site is the official site of the SRG and is intended for member groups and their members to keep them informed of progress and decisions.

The Regulator is the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council www.cnhc.org.uk

About Shiatsu

The definition of Shiatsu at the top of each page represents a minimal definition to which all member organisations can subscribe, and which does not exclude any of them. However, each organisation will expand on this definition to provide more information on its own beliefs, practices, and extension of this definition. You are recommended to refer to each organisation for more information about its form of Shiatsu.
